GFSAK -
About GFSAK
GFSAK is a support organization for work integration social enterprises in Gothenburg. Together, we create opportunities for people who are far from the labour market to move closer to employment, financial self-sufficiency, and greater participation in society.
GFSAK consists of several member organizations, all of which are work integration social enterprises. Through our activities, people are given the opportunity to develop their skills, strengthen their self-confidence, and grow at their own pace. We believe in everyone's right to feel valued, contribute according to their abilities, and be an active part of working life and society.
We support our member organizations through advice and guidance, organizational development, coaching, skills development, employer support, and financial guidance. Through collaboration and knowledge sharing, we strengthen both the enterprises and the people who participate in our activities.
GFSAK also works to increase awareness and understanding of work integration social enterprises and their importance in creating a sustainable and inclusive society. We act as a voice for our member organizations and strive to ensure that more people have access to employment, community, and influence over their own lives.
GFSAK collaborates with the City of Gothenburg, public authorities, businesses and civil society organizations to create better opportunities for our member organizations to grow and develop. Through projects, partnerships and other initiatives, we work to strengthen work integration social enterprises and make it possible for more people to find their place in working life and society.

The organisation
We are a politically independent economic association that believes in the power of entrepreneurship to create employment and meaningful work opportunities for people who are far from the labour market. We believe in a socially sustainable society that promotes diversity, tolerance and equality.
All profits are reinvested in our activities, enabling us to start new initiatives, expand existing operations and, in turn, create employment opportunities for more people who are far from the labour market.
GFSAK is governed by a board of directors and has seven employees. Together with our ten work integration social enterprises, we are a community of approximately 70 employees.

Our values
We believe in the equal value of every person and in everyone’s potential and ability to grow and develop. Our organization is built on participation, empowerment, and a shared commitment to making a positive contribution to the society we all share.
Everyone contributes 100% based on their individual abilities. We recognize that people have different circumstances and that their capacity to perform can vary at different stages of life.
